Our obligatory stop, beautiful place!

In Miami there is also the Seaquarium, it is a charming place with whales, seals, dolphins, birds, giant aquariums and we cannot forget the flamingos that are right at the entrance.

Finally, this place is like a mixture of zoo, with different themes.

The attractions have specific times to happen, at the entrance you will receive a folder with everything explained.

Don't forget to visit the museums, there are countless: focused on modern art, nature, science, curiosities, animals, old houses and etc...

Ocala – Ocala National Forest

Or Ocala National Forest, it's one of the most beautiful parks we've been to in Florida.

It is located in the center of the state, near Orlando and between Ocklawaha and the St. Johns.

With a perfect nature, surrounded by bears, squirrels, geckos and many birds.

For those who like adventure, trails and camping: this place is amazing!

Ocala - Florida

In the middle of the park there is a natural swimming pool, with crystal clear water you can see all the fish!

Many carry material for diving and the place is wonderful to enjoy with the family and have a picnic.

Americans often go to bathe and play with their children on weekends.

Anyway, it's a totally family climate!

Ocala - Florida

There are places to camp, bathrooms to shower, everything is well organized and clean.

Be careful with the garbage: bears often go through the garbage cans and eat leftover food. That's why it has appropriate places for disposal.

There is a store at the beginning of the park that has a little bit of everything, important items such as: firewood, food, floats, towels and even the most superfluous items such as some kind of souvenirs.

However, not everything is perfect!

As it is very hot there, the first moment you enter the water, it seems that you have entered a pool full of ice.

However, after the first dive, you won't want to get out of the water.

In addition to the pool, there a river that runs through the park and many people take a walk with caique.

Is adventure and so much!

It has synchronized light and music shows. Currently, this spectacle is not happening.

There are also boat trips on the river, lasting an average of one hour.

You will pass under three bridges, through the stadium TIAA Bank (home of the American Jaguars team) and a person along the way will tell you the history of the city with interesting facts.

In addition to museums, fairs in the city, zoo, churches and parks.

The famous park crocodiles🇧🇷 This park was one of the last places we went on our expedition.

Beforehand you will access it after passing through the city and it will take you around one hour until you get to the places to do camping.

Shortly after entering the access to the park, you can reach the Park Museum and pick up the map to access it. We went with the objective of camping, however when we opened the car door, there were so many mosquitoes that we ended up aborting this mission.

We got to know the park, saw some crocodiles, did some trails and went back to the city.

So our tip for this tour is: take repellent!

A negative point to the park is that it was a little abandoned, there were people all over the park, however the structures were unoccupied and poorly maintained.
