How about a stop for a delicious snack at George's New York | New York?! I'm sure you won't regret it!
After visiting the 9/11 Memorial, we were hungry and not wanting to walk far to find a cafe. That's when we found George's New York, a small place but all themed: an essentially New York place.
After visiting, we learned that the place was a legend, as the old structure was totally destroyed by the events of 9/11.
George and his sons managed to rebuild it in the same mold as when it opened in 1950. In the decoration, paintings tell their story and that of New York.
It's a nice place for anyone in the area.
There are many options on the menu: hamburgers, scrambled eggs, hot dogs, sandwiches and everything you can imagine!
Every Saturday and Sunday there is a menu of brunch which is different every weekend.
As I wanted to eat everything New Yorker, I chose waffles (Belgian pasta), with strawberries and chocolate coating. A delight!!!
In fact, it was the best. waffles I ate in New York!
The place is open from 6 am until 10 pm. Service is fast and friendly! For those who were hungry, this is a point that counted a lot 🙂
