Did you know that there are nude beaches in Santa Catarina?! There are three in total, but one is at risk of continuing the practice.
What are the nude beaches in SC?
Praia do Pinho – SC
Praia do Pinho is located in the municipality of Balneário Camburiú, also considered the first Brazilian naturist beach.
The practice began around 1980, after that the Associação Amigos da Praia do Pinho was created, which created a code of ethics to monitor (undue) attitudes of visitors.
The strip of sand has a length of 500 meters with a rock dividing the area on one side are singles and on the other side couples.
Galheta beach
Located in Florianópolis, the beach attracts curious people, surfers, nudists and GLBTs.
People are not obliged to remain naked, it is an option and there will be no impediments.
Access to the beach is through Praia Mole, by a trail that takes an average of 15 minutes.
The stretch of sand has 950 meters, and remembering, nudism is optional, people stay the way they feel comfortable. 🙂
Pedras ALtas beach
Located in the municipality of Palhoça, it is part of the Serra do Tabuleiro Biological Reserve.
Here the beach is divided into two parts, for couples and for singles, with an extension of 100 meters each area.
Here the nudity is MANDATORY
This beach has a Local Naturist Club, which supervises, organizes and created rules to be followed.
Nudism in Praia do Pinho may be prohibited
As already filed by councilor Anderson dos Santos, the same requests that the beach had conditions to be explored in other ways.
In addition, according to reports, there is constant misuse of the beach, immoral and even illegal, such as: petty theft, robberies, pollution of the environment, orgies, among others.
According to the councilor, he talks to the local community, and most of them want to put an end to naturalism and make the beach widely accessible and accessible to everyone.
But for those who like this option, you can rest assured that everything is still as before, because all the guidelines and release for practice are in the Municipal Master Plan and it needs to be changed, go for analysis and then be put into practice, taking still some time.
