The small beach of Rosa is full of unique style, beautiful beach houses and other roots, many surfers on the streets and trendy nights.
In which city is Praia do Rosa located?
It is located in the municipality of Imbituba, 90 kilometers from Florianópolis.
The beach is divided into two regions: Rosa Norte and Rosa Sul (Portinho). Below I will give a brief description.
North Rose
Would you like quieter?? This part of the beach is the most suitable.
As it is a little further away from the accesses being in a less urbanized part of Rosa, it ends up being quieter.
Surfers appear to take more radical maneuvers, hikers love to face the routes on this side that lead to the neighboring beach, in addition to the incredible natural landscape.
South Rose
In the opposite direction of the beach, the view is more colorful, with more people, full of surfers, people taking surf lessons and guaranteed fun.
In addition, there are chairs and umbrellas for rent, beachside bars and more vendors selling local sales, this is where all tribes meet.
What to do in Praia do Rosa?
The beach that houses all the tribes has several attractions in the midst of nature and in the small center.
Surrounded by inns and rental houses, it will be easy to stay during the winter, however in the summer you need to make your booking in advance.
a beautiful feature of the rose (affectionately called) is that it is surrounded by mountains and rocks with incredible views.

With some bars, restaurants, cafes, clothing stores and local handicrafts, you can enjoy a little bit of each.

Pousada Praia do Rosa
Rosa has several inns and hostels.
Many surfers or singles stay in Hostel (room with several beds) sharing bathroom and kitchen, this one with more affordable prices.
Hostels, on the other hand, have higher prices (when compared to hostels) but they are worth it.
Depending on what you are looking for, if you want a view of the sea, a balcony and a bathtub, it can reach values of R$800.00 a day (or even more), further away from the beach but close to the center you can find it for R$250.00, R$200.00 .
Tip: prefer close to the center, because at night it is very difficult to find parking in the center, if you are close to the center you can already do your night tour, walking.
To access the beach you will usually need to walk, you will not be able to get very close to the sea, you will have to go by car to some place or walk along some long trail in addition to the normal ones for accessing the beach, so organize your convenience at least for the night on your tour 🙂 and stay close to the center.
