It's wonderful to live in Torres!
Walking down the street we find people from all over, usually retired, because they worked their whole lives and designed their lives to live their retirement here on the beach, but what if it was possible to come and live here much earlier?!
Have you thought? Raising your children in a quiet place, being able to take them to the playground without fear, planning to take them to school and knowing that you won't hit traffic.
It's a dream right?! But it's not impossible!

What is the cost of living in Torres?
Everything will depend on whether you will have your house or apartment, or if you will rent.
Initially the rental of:
- a kitnet is around R$800.00 (with water and electricity)
- 2 bedroom apartments around R$ 1,500.00 (some charge water and electricity).
- House 2 bedrooms around R$ 1,500.00 (generally with water and electricity included).
Tip: there are cheaper ones but they are in regions further away from the center.
From there, there are expenses with food and other household expenses.
We usually put at least R$1,000.00 per month, but it depends on each family and how many people, but for a couple it comes out around that amount.
I don't consider it an expensive city to live in, especially since there are large supermarkets and you can do good research and buy items on sale.
