Learn all about The View: New York's revolving restaurant, it's a view so incredible you won't want to leave.
"What a view! What a view!"
That was the most heard phrase the night we went to dinner at The View restaurant in Times Square.
The restaurant is located on the 48th floor of the Marriott Marquis (1535 Broadway, between W45 and W46), right in the heart of Times Square.
The View is New York's only revolving restaurant.
We went at midnight sunset🇧🇷 Simply amazing!
The rotating floor makes a complete turn (360 degrees) in 1 hour. Just imagine the view! Historic buildings, monuments… Everything is beautiful! Undoubtedly the most fantastic view of New York!
Reservations are not necessary, but I recommend it if you go to the restaurant. However, it is not possible to choose the location of the table.
We wanted a table by the window facing sunset, so we thought it best to make a reservation for a time close to sunset on that day. And it worked! 🇧🇷 Our table, luckily, faced one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen!
On the tables, the napkins contained the visual map for everyone to identify the buildings and monuments during the restaurant rotation.
It's amazing the number of points that can be seen… And at night, with the city lighting, everything is even more beautiful!
The menu is not very diversified but the main dishes are present – you can find the best of contemporary American cuisine.
The sequence is the traditional one: starter, main course and dessert.
The wine list is more complete and elaborate, and has samples from different parts of the world.
The service is exceptional! Everyone is very attentive and helpful!
The restaurant also has a lounge area, where you can have a drink while enjoying the panoramic view.
Well, the ascent through the central elevator with panoramic views from all floors, already gives a taste of what lies ahead…
It's been a wonderful night!
The view exceeds all expectations! 🇧🇷
