There are several colonial cafes and to have some coffee, in any of them there will be queues, you will hardly be contemplated when you arrive at the place, considering that it is Winter, if you go in the summer the situation is different, much calmer.
What's in the colonial cafe
A colonial café is practically a lunch or dinner, it is a very complete meal.
It has varieties of juices, usually grape, orange, strawberry. Hot drinks like coffee, milk and hot chocolate.
Varieties of cakes: corn cakes, pãp de ló, nega crazy, coconut cake and much more. Sweet and savory pies.
The savory part comes in as: pastries, polenta, risolhos, coxinha, among others.
The cold cuts are always present: varieties of cheeses, hams, salami, jellies, milk jams, grape jams, among others.
Some cafes even serve fried chicken, like drumsticks and other small cuts.

It opens from 11 am to 11 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays it opens at 10 am.

Open from 11 am to 7 pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday open from 10 am to 8:30 pm.
Gramado Café Colonial

Daily from 11:30 to 21:00.

Values of colonial cafes
The values do not vary much, they are around R$80.00 to R$120.00. If you're not a big eater, I think this price is a little expensive.
