What to do in Altamonte Springs, Florida

Put this little town on your itinerary and have fun!

Altamonte Mall

Shopping and visiting malls is great! This mall is quite large, belonging to the same group as the Florida Mall.

The cool thing about doing your shopping here is that compared to the malls in Orlando, this one has much lower prices and with several exclusive promotions. There are several outlet stores and you can buy a lot of things at half price or even less.

One of the advantages of coming here to this shopping mall is because it is further away from the tourist area, there is no rush of people shopping like crazy, or those huge queues when paying. And of course, as I said previously, I considered the prices to be much more advantageous than in Orlando.

Among the best-known stores are: Macy's, Forever XXI, Charlotte Russe, department stores such as Dillard's, Sears and JC Penney. In addition, it has a food court to take a break while shopping 🙂

Crane's Roost Park

Located in the heart of the city in Uptown Altamonte, this 45-acre park is located around Grane's Roost Lake.

Around 1 km around the lake, there are leisure areas and benches to have a picnic.

In the center of the park there is a European-style square, a fountain with water dance (happens every night at 8pm and 9pm) and a beautiful floating stage: Eddie Rose Amphitheater, which is where shows and events take place.

Inside this park there is also a beautiful tower: Cranes Roost Tower, with its 62 feet high, being seen even from the I-4 highway, it is a beautiful postcard of the city.

meet this mini golf course with the theme adventure which offers waterfalls, alligator feeding, scavenger hunts and an arcade. The cool thing about this park is the fun for adults and children (who are delighted), it was considered one of the best mini golf courses in Florida.

What draws attention is the time to feed the alligators, there are 25 in total, using a stick to feed them. In addition, there are games such as hunting for objects in the jungle, mining for precious stones, game rooms and mini golf with 18 holes.
