Did you know that the Walmart near Disney is different from other places? That's because he has several items aimed only at Disney. Here in this article I will share shopping tips with you!
Shops with Disney merchandise – Orlando
While entering the city of Orlando, it is already possible to feel the magic of Disney, many advertising totems talking about: “Disney outlets”, “$1.99 and stores with: “Between items of $5”, “disney outlets”. Believe: we went to all these places!
And the frustration is that $$1.99 items are usually a pen or something I didn't even know what it was. The $5 dollar items were usually tank tops (no disney stuff), cups, key chains, pens, purses (small items and not very useful, from my point of view).
As for the things we bought that were really beautiful, they were fancy clothes for children, an average of $18 dollars
Disney t-shirts, hats and pajamas. The average prices were all the same. T-shirts around $14 dollars, caps $15 dollars, pajamas $32 dollars (they sell the pieces separately, so the two pieces are more or less that amount).
Shops inside Disney parks
They are very expensive!
If you go with a child, the best thing is not to go inside these stores (lol), because a child who is a child always asks for something and dads are melted with broken hearts and surrender to the looks.
But the only advantage is that they are original products of great quality and have exclusive items, which you can only find in official stores!
The t-shirts, jackets and pants are the items that you can clearly identify the difference (because they are original products) the quality is wonderful.
Tip: toys, accessories and teddy bears can be found with the same quality and originals, outside the parks. Clothes are more difficult, outside the parks the quality drops a little.
Disney's Walmart – Orlando
After researching all the stores that sold only Disney items, we went to Walmart.
Just wonderful!
There's a lot of Disney stuff: Minei headbands, fridge magnets, t-shirts, pajamas, kids clothes, hoodies, hats, mugs, decor, teddy bears, characters and much more.
Comparing with the prices of the stores listed above, the difference can reach $5 dollars. For example, a T-shirt that costs $12 dollars at Walmart, I found the same one in stores for $18 dollars.
Decorating a mug at Walmart was around $9 dollars and in stores around $14 dollars, but some items were values that gave differences of $1 dollar. So it depends on your willingness to research and how many things you want to buy.
If you are going to buy clothes for everyone, souvenirs and accessories. my tip is to buy at Walmart. But if it's just one or two things, it's not worth all that stress searching and looking.
Our advantage is that our hotel was close to the shops and next to Walmart, so our walks ended up being through all these places.
