Located in the Midwest region of the country.
Because it is located far from large areas of water, its climate is very unstable and temperatures change dramatically from hot summers to very cold winters.

Maltese Cross Cabin
A beautiful house, built in 1883 by Theodore Roosevelt (later to become the 26th president of the country and one of the greatest conservationists).
He was the one who gave the park a different look, the goal was to have a country house, lead a life of a working cowboy.
It is currently part of the park. Theodere Roosevelt National Park, and earned the name Maltese Cross Cabin.

Theodere Roosevelt National Park
It was through the leadership of former president conservationist that this park protects these beautiful landscapes.
You can go hiking, trails, camping and take lots of photos in these natural wonders.
You can see wild horses or bison roaming the park, as well as deer, elk, longhorns, pronghorns, coyote, bobcats and a wide variety of birds.
Painted Canyon Overlook
It is part of Theodere Roosevelt National Park, this is where you will meet visitor center and a beautiful lookout point for everything that awaits you along the way.
In addition to the lookout, you can take some small trails and see the landscape from different angles.
International Peace Garden
A beautiful garden, a fountain and in its center is the division between Canada (on the right) and USA (on the left).
At the entrance you will find three flags: the USA, Canada and a rainbow. You can enjoy your walk and have a coffee or buy gifts in a large store that is on site, go hiking, ride a bike and visit the Chapel of Peace 🙂
Grahams Island State Park
Grahams Island State Park is located on the ever-changing shores of Devils Lake.
This hidden gem is heavily wooded and surrounded by miles of lake shoreline.
Campers will enjoy the large shaded campsites on one of the only non-seasonal campsites in the region.
Visitors can enjoy a day at the lake, stroll the trails, swim at the beach or tour the visitor center.
In winter, visitors can explore more than three miles of manicured cross-country ski trails, explore the park with snowshoes, and have excellent access to the lake for ice fishing activities.
The biggest buffalo monument in the world
Exactly, it is a giant size located between Frago and Bismarck.
The Bison monument and the Frontier Village, you can also enjoy and discover the National Buffalo Museum.
Frontier Village is a complex with many pioneering historic buildings among them: a family, a barbershop, a church, a school and even a prison.
