For me, Caniôn Fortaleza is one of the most beautiful and it is possible to see the valleys from different angles. Famous for having passed a soap opera on the globe on top of its beautiful green field.

Location – Fortress Canyon
Located 23 km from Cambará do Sul, it is within the Serra Geral National Park.
Its access is through the CS-423. A good part of the road, around 10 km of dirt road.
If you are in Porto Alegre, it will be approximately 200 km and if you are in Praia Grande, it will be around 50 km.
Prohibited – Fortress Canyon
The park is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
Amount charged individually: R$ 50.00 and passport for two days R$80.00.
sayat
In the park there is no structure to sell food or water. So, don't forget to shop in the city of Cambará do Sul.
Furthermore:
- Fuel up in the city, as you won't find gas stations either;
- Take your snack and water;
- Wear trail shoes or good walking shoes;
- repellents;
- Sunscreen and some head protection (hat or cap).
trails – Fortress Canyon
It is possible to do 3 trails inside the park, all on the same day. They are very short and you will not need a guide.
However, be careful when approaching the walls. There have been cases of people falling, in situations where they were taking pictures and losing their balance, and to gain access to the valley, only by helicopter or by qualified professionals.
Tip: take this tour in the morning, there will be less chance of fog.
Fortress Lookout Trail
It's 3 km (round trip). It is possible to see the entire valley, the Rio da Pedra that passes below and take beautiful pictures.
Difficulty level: easy
Tigre Preto Waterfall Trail
I don't know the reason for the name Tigre Preto, don't worry, there's no chance of finding one there. But the waterfall is amazing.
The route is 3 km (round trip). You will go over the waterfall and continuing the trail, you will be almost facing it. It's the most beautiful route!
Difficulty level: easy
It is possible to bathe in the waters of the waterfall, at the top with the trail. Don't get too close to the drop! Be careful! It is a waterfall of more than 400 meters.
Secret Stone Trail
Following the Tigre Preto trail, after passing the waterfall, for another 700 meters (round trip).
It has the mysterious secret stone!
A giant 30-ton boulder, suspended over a tiny 50-centimeter boulder, and what's the secret to keeping it there? That's the secret she keeps.
Difficulty level: easy
