Solitude Beach

The resort further north of the municipality and farther from the Headquarters – receives more vacationers from other cities (such as the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre), than from Mostardas itself.

It is the closest to the city's urban core, just 12 km away. The resort is also known as "Praia Nova” and can be easily reached by a city/beach/city bus line, which departs from the city bus station.

Sao Simao beach

Located 28 km from the urban center, it has one of the oldest societies in the municipality, the Clube de São Simão. Founded in 1948, the club still rocks the beach today with parties, live music and dinners.

Pai João beach

It is the smallest in the municipality. It only has traditional residents and former vacationers who do not change the tranquility offered and is the stage for one of the largest religious festivals in the municipality, which takes place during the summer season.

Lagoa do Peixe National Park

This park mostly belongs to the municipality of Tavares (80%), São José do Norte (3%) and Mostardas has 17%.

Altogether there are 36,722 hectares, managed by ICMBio.

Camping is not allowed inside the park and it does not have any infrastructure for tourism. The way to enjoy the park is by taking a walk along the seafront or through Laguna dos Patos.

When taking this tour, it is possible to find traces of shipwrecks and lighthouses, such as: Farol de Mostardas, Farol Capão da Marca and Farol Cristóvão Pereira.

The municipality's coastline is made up of a field of dunes covering 100 km of territory, a place of rare natural beauty where we can observe and walk in the sand.

Access to these landscapes is via the connecting roads to our resorts, Praia do Farol da Solidão, Praia de São Simão and Balneário Mostardense.

Christopher Pereira Lighthouse

One of the oldest lighthouses in Brazil, built in 1837, is located at the end of the peninsula in the town of Rincão do Cristóvão Pereira.

Distant approximately 50 km from the city of Mostardas.

Access to the lighthouse takes place on the shore of Lagoa dos Patos, depending on weather conditions and should preferably be done with 4×4 vehicles.

In the municipality there are guides who carry out off-road tours.

Mostardas Catholic Church

Located in the central square of the municipality, the church was founded in 1773, built in baroque style.

It is a work of art and a lot of history. Take the opportunity to meet.
