Any doubts about this statement? Traveling is good for health! And for physical and mental health! That moment of relaxing, having fun is without a doubt the “charging the batteries” that we all need at least once a year (at least).
Of course, many people go on a trip and end up getting irritated with the various problems they face during a trip, inconvenience and many headaches.
But to avoid these problems, we even made an article explaining everything! Travel tips you need to know
But after all, do you know how to take advantage of your trip to do that damn good for your health?! Below I will list some things that you need to take a good look at and optimize on your trip:
Making new friends
Is there anything better than making friends, telling stories and having a lot of laughs?!
A trip, in addition to knowing the places, is wonderful to open up to people and exchange experiences.
Tip: Meet local people, ask for tips on places, restaurants, parks.
We love to strike up a conversation at the hotel desk, at the visitor center or in restaurants 🙂
Disconnecting from the digital world
We live daily waiting for answers on whatsapp, looking at social media stories (taking care of the other's life), doing a thousand things (except living the present moment).
So during the trip, it's that moment to enjoy every minute, enjoy the road, the flight, the hikes, the landscapes and everything that's good about a trip!
Of course, we need to take those photos that we love to see again. But remember, enjoy the place you go, dazzle in the moment and contrary to what many people do: they arrive at the place, take pictures, take selfies and only evaluate the place when they are looking at the photos at home.
Live the moment, the place!
tightening ties
It is during the family trip that we stop to get closer, “putting up” with each other for a longer time.
And that's when we need to enjoy a lot! The opportunity to get closer physically to those we love, it is scientifically proven that increases our immunity.
running away from depression
Meeting people, planning a trip, discovering new places, creating your itinerary… all of this effectively stimulates your brain against bad thoughts that lead to depression.
These new stimuli are wonderful, they open new horizons for the traveler, who starts to look positively and full of enthusiasm at the new routine that will be during his trip.
There will be no time for negative thoughts, you will be too worried about how to enjoy every moment of your trip 😀
Do activities while traveling
Without a doubt, the best way to burn those calories is to exercise.
If you have the hotel gym and can make a treadmill, it will be perfect. But if you don't have that option, the walks you take exploring the places you're going to visit will help a lot!
Avoid driving when you are in the city center, or in places where visitors are closer. Getting to know a place by walking is the best way to do activities and get to know the place better 🙂
Enjoy the parks, go on trails, sports that the parks offer, it will be fun and very good for your body and your health!
Knowing new languages
Going to a country that speaks another language or even within our country with regional words is pure fun!
You need to focus, read about it, look it up in the dictionary, translator and you'll be saying the words just to feel local 🙂 it's really cool!
Don't feel ashamed or afraid, everyone has tried to pronounce a word one day and couldn't and believe me, usually no one will laugh at you and will try to understand what you tried to say. Have a good time!
So, did you like the tips?!
Now more than ever, pack your bags and go travelling!
Importantly, if you have the option of not selling your vacation, it will help your mind and heart a lot, to rest and recover for the busy year full of goals!
