Use caution when walking outside Fort Lauderdale Airport
We are now traveling to Florida in 2023, and we chose to land at this airport, I confess that we were surprised by the “new” and regrettable scenario on the streets of Fort Lauderdale.
On the outside of the airport complexes, there are a lot of street people, or rascals acting like “smart people”, we are all the time apprehensive and really worried. fear that something would happen, luckily we only had 2 backpacks, so it was easy to walk quickly to our final objective.
That's why we told you not to ask people you meet on the street, get your questions answered by the people who work at the airport, in the end, you never know who has bad intentions giving you information.
After picking up our rental car, we wanted to have lunch and on the streets outside the airport, another sad scene with drug users in every corner. We were in shock!
And I confess that this reality was awakened during the pandemic, because we had taken this same route in 2020 and there was nothing similar to what we found this time. Pitiable!
