coats for the winter holidays

Investing in a quality coat to go to cold places is fundamental, the best ones are the waterproof thermal ones, in addition to being super warm, they are not so bulky, they protect from the wind and possible rain or snow.

The snow, at first, stays on the coat, but with time it melts and ends up wetting the clothes, and that is the advantage of having a waterproof coat.

The coat's openings are super protected (with two or three layers), which prevents the entry of cold.

Their price is a little high, but it's worth the investment.

Choose a warm and comfortable coat for your winter vacation.

Thermal second skin

Have you ever seen those tight-fitting clothes? For us it will be a similar outfit, well glued to the body, the idea is the same, leave it well glued so that your body stays warm and the body temperature does not leak through the fabric. She looks like a very warm pajama.

Thermal underwear has a thin fabric, which dries quickly and keeps your body warm, and best of all, it takes up very little space in your suitcase.

Jeans

It will match any piece of clothing in your closet. With its simple and sophisticated appearance it will protect you from the wind/cold.

I'm going through the options that you probably have at home, but there are pants in the same fabric as the jacket, which would look even better if you're going to climb in the snow, however, for walking around the city, I don't think it's so relevant to have one. I confess that we went to the snow, climbed and everything, just in jeans and everything went well!

In addition to making the face even more cold, it is essential to protect our head and ears. Thus, avoiding in extreme cold, a possible headache or earache, which can leave you in bed and lose a day of your trip.

Wool scarf

There are several fabrics, but a good wool scarf is the best, well wrapped around your neck, it won't let the cold in or body heat out, and of course, it's much more charming.

There are models that are hat and scarf, they protect the mouth and neck, leaving only the eyes outside, super warm.

wool pants

You're going to laugh, but have you seen those very cheap granny pants (also called long underwear), pajama style?! This one, it has a foot or an open top, wear it under your pants, it will serve as a second skin.

wool pants

If you don't like using wool, there are other types of materials that are a second skin, such as the lycra I mentioned earlier or cotton with easy perspiration.

shoes to use in winter

For men, it's good to wear boots (waterproof) or sneakers. Women a good boot is enough.

waterproof boot

There are wool-lined boots, but consider one thing: if you're going for walks, wear sneakers! Don't ruin your trip by putting on shoes that won't make you comfortable. So in this case, it would be good to take boots and sneakers, put on your feet what would take up more space in your suitcase (in this case, boots) :). The advantage of taking two items is that if you get snow and end up getting your shoes wet, you will have a second option.

Gloves to use in the cold

As fundamental as the hat and the scarf, they form the tripod to keep the extremities warm.

There are several models of gloves, such as those made of leather, wool and cotton.

The advantage of the leather glove is that it won't get wet if you want to make a snowman (heheh). Oh, and to use the cell phone?! Put your cell phone in charge of yourselves, I'm sure you won't want to take off your gloves.

Socks

We can't forget about them! They will warm our feet during the day and even to sleep.

The best are cotton socks that warm up well and are breathable, helping your feet not to get wet.

There are those with a cold who wear two socks, and I tell you it's worth it, we buy those cheap and fluffy plush socks, they are very warm.

Remembering that the cold we went was -5C on average, for more extreme cold weather, there are socks made of the same material as the pants and jacket, which I mentioned earlier.

Last tip!! Buy online, they are almost always cheaper than physical stores.

If you don't want to spend almost nothing, for example: you're going to do just one day of hiking in the middle of the snow, many places have clothes for rent, an amount that will be worth it using appropriate clothes and without spending absurdities.
