The Municipality of Praia Grande announces that it became aware on the morning of this Wednesday, January 25, of a balloon accident that occurred at around 6:30 am in the town of Timbopeba, in the municipality of São João do Sul.
The Municipal Government deeply regrets what happened and reinforces that it promptly made itself available for the help and care of the three victims, a pilot and two tourists. All those involved were referred to hospitals in the region so that they have the necessary care and support so that the safety and physical integrity of all are preserved.
In view of the incident, Praia Grande City Hall set up a committee to understand and investigate the causes of the accident, as well as to study and promote safety actions so that events like these do not happen again.
Tourists visiting the region want to live the best experiences, with responsible companies and professionals that provide this tourist service with comfort and safety, and for this the City Hall and the Municipal Secretary of Tourism will continue to use all their efforts and dedication.
