This achievement is due to its beautiful panoramic view of Kuka'emoku, which is accessed via a 1-kilometer trail with an elevation of 1200 feet.
The history of this valley is rich spiritually and culturally, created by the battle of kepaniwai, in which the forces of Kamehameha I conquered the army of Maui in 1790.

Makena State Park
With a beautiful postcard of the island, it has two beaches Big Beach and Little Beach and in the middle of them a dormant volcano 360 feet high.
