We have reached the month of November, almost December, and with it come millions of plans for the next year and a giant wish list to fulfill in the next twelve months.
Here at Wenttrip it couldn't be any different and that's why we made our list: Destinations for 2023 for our readers and some we also want to know 🙂 .
It was not possible to set a rating for this list as here you will find an entire country, region, city or two attractions that are not even available year round.
But let's get to what really matters in this post.
TULIP FIELDS – AMSTERDAM
That dream of seeing Holland's tulip fields. I wonder if there's photoshop in all that, how can a flower and such a colorful field.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, the park has more than 30 hectares, where 7 million bulbs bloom and there are 4 thousand varieties of tulip. As nature is not exact, the tulip season may vary. The park usually opens at the end of March and its activities last until mid-May.
Every year is a year and there is no right period to see the fields at their peak, but it is recommended to book your trip for the second half of April.
LAVENDER FIELDS - PROVENCE
I think it's a different beauty, in Brazil we don't have anything as intense as these two mentioned. If so, let me know where it is!
Although many say that reality is a field full of bees, I already imagine myself running through the fields with a flowing dress, that aroma of Provence enveloping me and a hat to protect me from the intense sun of the beginning of the European summer. Movie scene! 🇧🇷
One day I was told that the fields were not all that, that the photos are deceiving and the coloring is much less vivid than what we see in the photos.
But my desire is so great, that once again I say: I want to see it with my own eyes and draw my own conclusions.
If my research did not fail, the recommended thing is to visit the place at the end of June, which is the period of greatest flowering.
ICELAND
Initially I discovered how beautiful the country is and full of natural beauties, which I confess this is my style of travel at the moment.
You've already earned a point! Reading a little more I discovered that the great charm of this destination is to take a road-trip around the country.
And with ten days of travel it is possible to do a lot. If you know me, you know that road trip is also my style, so it's just another dot.
Finally I came across beautiful records of the Northern Lights, which I think is a dream of every traveler, am I wrong? The latter gained ten points at once and climbed to the top 5 on my wish-list.
ANDALUSIA
Exploring the most of Spain is a goal I have for the next few years, after all, I'm here and I have to take advantage of this opportunity.
The region of Andalusia is one of the most interesting to me. I haven't been there until today because I'm definitely making up a story, you know that destination that seems to have 500 things to do and you think that the time you have is never enough to explore everything? Then. And there went two years!
But I've already understood: it's better to do a part well done than to do nothing.
Do you want to know why this region draws my attention so much? It is the part of Spain that has the most Arab influence, and I am completely in love with the Moorish style. I think I'm going to love every feature and curve of this region.
I can already see myself among the orange arches of the Cordoba mosque. Losing myself between the columns and the garden of the Alhambra in Granada. Walked on the Plaza España in Seville and still being impressed by the Ponte Nova in the city of Ronda. There, Andalusia, I already have my script ready to meet you! If one more opportunity knocks on my door, you can be sure that in 2018 I will take it.
BURANO
I can't even say when Burano joined the wish-list, but I had no doubts about inserting the city on the destination list for 2023. Maybe you've never heard of Burano, but this picturesque city is one of the islands that is away from Venice.
Many people pass through the city classified as the most romantic in the world and never dream that the colorful Burano is right next door!
I've seen so many photos of this city, of those you're not familiar with and think: wow, what a cute place, where is it? And then go search and PAH: Burano! This happened one, two, three, four…sometimes but today I squint and there's a sigh: ahhhh Burano…
But you must be wondering what there is so much in this city, right? There are colorful houses =D and I'm crazy about colorful houses… so, how can I not fall in love with Burano even before putting my feet there?
