Beach Park: learn all about one of the best water parks in the world.
Considered one of the best water parks in the world, Beach Park, in Ceará, is a mandatory stop for families with children and lovers of water games of any age.
The Beach Park is located in Aquiraz, on the beach of Porto de Dunas, 25 km from Fortaleza. Undoubtedly, it has been one of the main attractions in Ceará for over 30 years and it is no wonder that it has become a tourist complex visited by thousands of people a year, who often go to the region exclusively to enjoy the park.
I was at Beach Park in the month of December, very high season, but despite being very crowded, I didn't find it crowded or rides with gigantic queues... the place is so big and with so many options for different profiles and ages that even at the height of summer and season is comfortable to enjoy there.

Among the various water attractions, all are classified into categories and some are also classified by age, weight and height – so it is easy for everyone to have fun according to their age and profile and always safely.
Categories are classified into: FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY – are more children's toys, for babies and children of all ages – among them are Maremoto, Noah's Ark, Enchanted Chain, Treasure Island, Aquashow, Aquabismo, Aquababy and Aquacirco.
MODERATE ATTRACTIONS – they are fun but not radical attractions, most children can enjoy them, always respecting the height and weight of each toy, but in general, they are attractions that can be enjoyed by everyone! – among them are Atlantis, Insano Virtual, Hupa & Hopa and Ramubrinká.
RADICAL ATTRACTIONS : This one is only for those who are really brave, they are the most radical rides in the park and also the most disputed – Insano, Vaikuntudo, Arrepius and Kalafrio
I confess that I'm not the person who loves water parks the most, so I don't even need to say that I didn't go to any extreme rides, right?! I wanted to tell you about these experiences massss it won't be this time hahahahaha.
Among the coolest and disputed attractions are:
INSANE
It's just the most anticipated ride in the entire park – there's even a bleacher in front to see the crowd descend – there are 41 meters of free fall at a speed that can reach 105km/h – does anyone have the courage ??
ATLANTIS
Of the moderate attractions, Atlantis is the most disputed and it really seems to be a lot of fun (I don't remember why I didn't go there). You go down with three other people in a buoy from a tower 17.5 meters high at 34km/h – at least in this one we share the adrenaline with the guys, right?!
ENCHANTED RUNNING
My favorite attraction hahaha, I swear!! It's in the part of the toys for the whole family and it's a delight to stay in that little river relaxing on a raft and letting yourself go – sometimes there are traffic jams with rafts but that's ok hahahaha.
In addition to the highlight of the park, which are obviously the toys, the structure also has a Cabanas Space – which are private chalets for those who want more comfort and exclusivity between one game and another; it also has saunas, dry and steam; and several gastronomic options throughout the park.
Beach Park also has an outpatient clinic and lifeguards at all attractions.
How much does it cost ?
I found the prices at Beach Park quite steep, both the entry passport and food, drink and lockers… it's a trip that is SUPER worth the investment if you and your family just enjoy the water park a lot.
Now, in high season the ticket prices are:
1-day ticket for children – R$215
Ticket for 1 adult day – R$225 (on the official website there is a discount for online purchase)
Passport for 3 days – R$350
Passport for 7 days – R$380
* Children up to 1 meter tall do not pay
* Ticket price for children is up to 12 years old.
*The 3 and 7 day passport is valid for 15 consecutive days from the first entry.
Lockers are cabinets, which in my opinion are essential for you to be more mobile and have fun without worrying about bags or objects that cannot get wet.
Small – R$55 (being that R$25 are deposit and R$5 of the consumption card – R$30 are returned at the end).
Large – R$72 (where R$25 are deposit and R$5 of the consumption card – R$30 are returned at the end).
How much does it cost to eat at Beach Park?
Beach Park has several restaurants and options for the whole family, from snacks, pizza, hot dogs, to food by the kilo and healthy options! As everything in the park does not have a friendly price, the food would not be different, lol. To give you an idea…. hot dog R$16, mineral water R$7, beer R$10, french fries R$14, sandwich R$26 (on average) and buffet buffet R$99.
*You cannot bring drinks and food into the park.
How much does Espaço Cabanas cost?
Espaço Cabanas is for those who want to relax in comfort between one entertainment and another. There are eight private chalets with TV, towels and minibar (with 4 sparkling waters and 4 still waters included). Between R$ 685 and R$785 (with R$80 as a deposit and R$5 on the consumption card – R$85 are returned at the end).
Beach:
I have to say that I loved the beach at Beach Park, even more than the park itself hahahaha. Porto das Dunas beach is right in front of the park, it's a public beach, that is, you don't necessarily need to enter Beach Park (and pay) to access the beach! And even if you're not interested in entering the park, I think it's super worth visiting Porto das Dunas.
Porto das Dunas was one of the most beautiful beaches I saw in Fortaleza, it has a large stretch of sand, with several kiosks with tables and chairs under huge coconut trees – closer to the park – and very busy (not to say crowded) . And there's also a quieter part, with white sand, no invasion of tables and chairs and few people – closer to the hotels.
Even though I don't love crowds of people piled up on tables and chairs on the beach, I really enjoyed the service and especially the food at Restaurante da Praia! I spent the afternoon under the umbrella of a coconut tree eating shrimp fried in garlic and oil and enjoying an ice cold white wine! Perfect and super recommended !!
On the beach, there is also an area reserved for the Buble Lounge, which is Chandon's lounge with sofas, puffs and loungers and on weekends there is Beach Sounds at the Beach Restaurant with local bands and live music.
Hotels:
In addition to the excellent structure in the park and on the beach, Beach Park also has three resorts and a hotel, all aimed at families and perfect for those who want to enjoy several days in the park!
Acqua Beach Park Resort
Resort facing Porto das Dunas beach with an infinity pool and an artificial river that connects the resort to Beach Park. Great option for the family, with recreation for children, sports for adults, spa and two restaurants, Toaçu Bar and Restaurante Aquiraz, both a la carte.
Suites Beach Park Resort
Resort standing on the sand, more rustic and looking like a house on the beach, perfect for families with young children, with easy access to the park, as well as a swimming pool and lots of fun for children. It also has two a la carte restaurants, Jangada's Bar and Restaurante Porto da Dunas.
Wellness Beach Park Resort
Large family resort with great apartments up to 3 bedrooms and great spa area by L'Occitane! The hotel has 2 a la carte restaurants, Bar Molhado and Restaurante Azul do Mar, as well as a Lobby Bar with drinks and snacks.
Oceani Beach Park Hotel
The hotel, standing on the sand, is on the opposite side of the resorts, and despite its much smaller structure, it is cozy and has services practically the same as those of the resorts. The Oceani is 500 meters from the park but has a shuttle at different times every day, in addition to two a la carte restaurants, the Bar do Mar, which is by the sea and is an excellent option for lunch, and the Palhas Restaurant.
