What to do in Três Cachoeiras – RS
The Itapeva lagoon and the hills make Três Cachoeiras a beautiful place. It is nature that makes all the difference in this small town.
Praianha da Lagoa da Itapeva
As it does not have a beach, the shores of the lagoon are small areas that can be bathed and that even look like a little piece of sea.
The main Prainha is right at the end of Rua Manoel José Scheffer, you will go through a small stretch of dirt road and come across a little piece of paradise.
The shore is not white sand (as in the sea), but is full of pebbles of different sizes, mixed with coarse sand.
Poço das Andorinhas
To access the waterfall, you need to go to the community of Morro de Dentro, approximately 18km from the center of Três Cachoeiras.
On site there is space for barbecue, picnic and parking. No access fee is charged.
After parking your car, you will need to walk along a short path.
Pit of Bats
It is close to Poço das Andorinhas, about 100 meters away.
To access Poço dos Morcegos you need to go up the stairs and after about 3 minutes of walking about 100 meters and you will reach this beautiful waterfall, where the main attraction is a kind of toboggan formed by the rocks.
Captain's Hill
If you are a super adventurer, this tour is perfect! But be with a minimum of physical preparation, because it is trail and hill.
The top is rewarding, with views of the cities and even the sea. Many people like to camp, and thus visualize a beautiful sunrise.
