In this year that I did the article 2021, the canyon unfortunately it is closed to activities such as hiking, due to difficult access. Nature changes and that is one of the reasons.
If you are curious, it is possible to get close to the park and see so much beauty from afar, only access to its valleys is not possible.
It is considered an unexplored canyon, as it is so inhospitable.
Trail
When it was still possible to go hiking, and if by chance, return. Are 16 kilometers of walking, going down the valley until you reach the Mampituba River, a river that passes through the valleys.
The journey lasts around 8 hours.
Difficulty level: hard

- Bring food and water;
- Repellent;
- Appropriate footwear;
- Cap or hat;

Important: this trail is only possible be done with a guide.
Finally, I hope that access to the park is released as soon as possible. For those who love to hike, the level of difficulty will attract you, there are many kilometers and hours of travel. For those who have already managed to enjoy this trail, feel flattered.
