Tips on how to save on your trip to the coast

Even if you save all year round to enjoy your vacation on the coast, your budget is tight and saving money while traveling is very important. Today we are going to share tips on how to travel and not spend all your savings.

Food

Eating in restaurants every day is not a good alternative, and many less opt for fast foods. Food is increasingly expensive, and coastal beaches generally increase prices in high season.

Tips:

If you are in a hotel and get breakfast, a good option is to have a strong coffee. That way you can have lunch later and avoid shopping in the morning.

Take a fruit (banana, pear, apple) to eat before noon.

On the other hand, if you are with your family and rented an inn or house that has a kitchen, the ideal is to go shopping at a supermarket and prepare the family meal. With R$150.00 you will be able to prepare a great meal for 4 people, with that same amount you won't be able to eat in a restaurant.

where to stay

This item is the important pillar of savings on your trip!
If there is in couple, anywhere is a good option, from camping, sleeping in the car to even staying in a hostel.

However, as a family, it's not that simple anymore!

Tip: rent a house, apartment or inn that has a kitchen. This way it will be more affordable to prepare meals for everyone and the rent is much more affordable.

Comparing a hotel: the Couple will cost an average of R$250.00 a day, if you are in 4 people and rent a house, the average is R$250.00 a day but for 4 people.

Is it or isn't it a great economy option?!

A day at the beach

The day at the beach is the most anticipated by everyone, but I anticipate it, it makes you hungry, even more so if you have children.

Tip: take fruits and practical foods to eat during the day, such as sandwiches, water, biscuits and even that good pastry made at home.

Buying food on the seafront is very expensive, usually a water costs R$5.00 and a pastry depending on the flavor is around R$15.00 to R$30.00. Fruits are usually not for sale, only juices.

So be prepared and without a doubt you will succeed in your savings 🙂

I'm already anticipating: the kids will ask for a popsicle, so make that exception! 🍦

leave your car at home

Going out with the car every day during the holidays is a sign of expense. The good option is to walk to the beach during your sightseeing tours, walking is the best way to see everything!

Leave your car at home, and take the opportunity to do some physical activity 🙂

bonus tip

Enjoying a day and tasting the local delicacies is a must!

Eating seafood, typical dishes of the region is part of the itinerary!

Food on the beach, seafood.

But already know that it won't come out so cheap, but it's necessary and it will be wonderful!
