Planning our trip to Disney – Orlando

If you don't know how to start your planning, if you think you can just buy the airline tickets and that's it, you are very wrong. Here I will share our plans for our next trip, let's go?!

Buying Tickets to Florida

We had been researching promotions for this trip for months, and I confess that nothing came up! Promotions were usually on closed days and did not fit the days we wanted to go. So that option ended up being discarded.

However, a nice tip is to look through the google flights https://www.google.com/flights. It's on Google and there it will present several options through different companies and so you can search until you find the perfect flight.

Tip: the ideal is to have a large window of days to oscillate in your choice, for example from the 12th to the 20th it can be a value, and from the 11th to the 19th it can be another value, and that's how we bought our tickets.

Price of tickets to Disney

We decided to buy our tickets through Azul to Fort Lauderdale, the value was much cheaper: R$2,700 and so we're going to do a whole tour along the coast until we get to Orlando.

But of course you can buy directly to Orlando. If your days are shorter and you don't like driving, our option might not suit you.

Florida trip planning

So now you know that we are not going to be alone in Orlando 🙂

We'll have 11 days to enjoy it and I'm sure it's going to be pure fun!

We created a script for all our days, put it in a spreadsheet: that's right! It is very necessary!

For days at Disney and Universal, we decided book 4 days, and we will have two days in the park, one day off and then two more days in the park. Because if you didn't already know, the parks are very tiring, you walk all day, so a day off is very important!

On the off day we go to the stores to buy little things and on the other days we go along the coast of Florida.

Buying Disney Tickets

We have already done our shopping and the main tip is: buy for days, several days and that way it will be cheaper!

When entering the site you will have the availability of the value per day, however this option will appear later to select how many days you want, and in this way you will save around $20 per ticket. And that already makes a big difference, even more so if you're in the family.

Another option is to choose two parks on the day, we also made this choice, it will be cheaper.

Choosing the best hotel to stay at Disney

The choice of hotel is very important, in which the main points to be evaluated in Orlando are: distance from parks and values.

If you can invest in a good hotel, our tip is to book Disney hotels, because you can access the parks half an hour before opening and usually stay up to 1 hour after closing. In addition, there are buses that pick up hotel guests free of charge and take them to the parks.

However, everything has a price and they are not very cheap.

Our choice was the most economical and considering the distance from the parks. We pay around R$400.00 a day and we will be around 20 minutes from each park, some more and others less. 🙂 Also, our hotel is close to everything: Walmart, Ross, McDonald's and much more!

What do you think of our planning?!
