Florianopolis guide

the crowd here is passionate about summer and of course we are already counting the days for the arrival of the next season. One of the destinations we enjoy the most here in Brazil is florianopolis, better known as the island of magic!! And it's not for nothing that it has this nickname, because for those who like amazing beaches, a cuisine with super fresh seafood and inviting prices and the best parties with a super beautiful crowd, here is the right place for you to enjoy your summer.

In the next posts we will give you several tips on beaches, accommodation, restaurants, tourism and parties to put together a complete guide of what Nós na Trip likes the most on the island for you!!

Florianopolis is the capital of the state of Santa Catarina in the south of the country and is divided into five regions… north, south, east, central and continental. Its biggest attraction are the beaches. (which I don't like, right?! lol) and there are beaches for all tastes, see?!! From surfers who really enjoy the Joaquina and Mole beaches which are to the east of the island; the guys who love a hustle and beautiful people with sunsets amazing on the beaches of International Jurerê and Brava north of the island; there is also a beach for those who enjoy a quieter place with a Caribbean sea like the campeche South; the foreigners (mostly Argentines) love the beach English at North; the gang of SUP meets at Conceição Lagoon and the Daniela beach which is perfect for children with its super calm sea and is in front of the mainland. These are some of the 42 beaches (the people there say that this number is much higher) beautiful islands of Magic Island.

In addition to beaches, some other Florida tourist attractions are the Avenida Beira Mar Norte, in the central region, which is a huge promenade but super nice to walk around in the late afternoon and that starts at a warehouse in Portugal square and yields great photos of the city; O Municipal market (I love a market!!! lol) that sells all kinds of products but its strong point is the much talked about “Shrimp Sequence” in the outside boxes (which stay open late) and the most famous shrimp pastel in town in Box 32 (open until 7pm), right there on the side is the historic center and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Florianopolis and finally to Hercílio Luz Bridge which is the city's postcard and served to connect the island to the mainland, the bridge has been inactive for more than 20 years but is super worth a stop for a photo, especially at night, when it receives special lighting.

You restaurants, I'll talk better next time post, but I already say that I ate very well… for those who love Seafood, best place to eat very well and at a fair price. The island is also the largest producer of oysters from the country (but this one I pass!!!)?? I only know that the restaurant Ostradamus is the best known in the region for those who enjoy this delicacy but honestly I didn't know him to be able to tell you, lol. THE Conceição Lagoon is known for its shrimp sequences at a nice price and the visu of the restaurants are already a super attraction. Worth knowing!

THE night on the island it is divided between the central region, full of nightclubs, including on Avenida Beira Mar; Jurerê Internacional, always with the best parties in the summer and Lagoa da Conceição for the most roots but with several really nice bars too. in a next post I comment more about the ones I know and others that are super recommended in the city.

THE best time to visit Floripa It's in the summer, after all, the beaches are its biggest attraction, but traffic jams are super common at that time (I always get several) and for me the best option is rent a car?? Regardless of where you stay, whether in the Center or Lagoa da Conceição, which are the most sought after places and with the best infrastructure, or even on a beach, the island is big, the bus journey takes time, especially in the late afternoon during the summer, which is the peak time of the traffic jams…. therefore, a car is the best solution to optimize your time there.

Besides, the city is incredible and I'm already counting the days and keeping an eye on the promos tickets for the next season there!!
