Dead Arm Lake
A good place to go for a walk, take some beautiful photos and take the opportunity to stay under an umbrella and dazzle nature with a mate.

The Tramandaí river separates the cities of the Coast: Tramandaí and Imbé. This said river flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The junction of the river and the ocean is known as Barra do Imbe.

It is very common to see dolphins that “surround” shoals of mullet, which facilitates fishing through the use of nets, used by artisanal fishermen.

To access it, just follow the main avenue in Paraguassu.

It is the beach with the best quality to enjoy a busy and sunny summer.
It has a good parking area, but during the summer season there is a lack of space. But the nearby streets support the demand.

Albatross Beach
This is a quieter beach, usually there are many families with children.
There are kiosks on the boardwalk (not on the seafront), super easy access and good quality.
Mariluz Beach
Quiet, familiar beach with some restaurants on the avenue and kiosk on the seafront.
The beach is one of the favorites of tourists.
Beaches of Imara (North)
This beach is different, it has giant dunes with fluffy and very white sand, it is an attraction for sandboarding.
As it is further away, it does not have much infrastructure, but for those who want peace, this is a great option.
Museum of Natural Sciences – MUCIN – CECLIMAR
The Museum of Natural Sciences at UFRGS – MUCIN is linked to the Center for Coastal, Limnological and Marine Studies (CECLIMAR).
It is a large space for environmental education, full of items from the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, such as: texts, engravings, videos, fossils and even an aquarium. There are a total of 5 scientific collections: Ornithological (Birds), Mastozoological (Mammals), Herpetological (mainly sea turtles), Malacological (Molluscs) and Porifera (Sponges).
At the exit next to the museum there is a swimming pool with turtles, the children are delighted!
You will learn many things about the geography, fauna and flora of the North Coast of Rio Grande do Sul. Furthermore, you will be able to see up close the skeleton of an incredible humpback whale.

The bridge is right on the border between the municipalities of Tramandaí and Imbé, this is where fishing takes place…it’s the fishermen’s point 🙂
