Fernando de Noronha is undoubtedly a dream for most travelers. The island has the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and is a famous international diving spot.
Noronha is a National Park managed by IBAMA. Everything is inspected and at the airport you will fill out a form, pay the daily environmental protection fee and leave through a single door after presenting the receipt.

Dolphin Bay
You can get there by boat or trail. It is the best place to observe spinner dolphins. The morning period is the most indicated, and if possible take binoculars.

Autonomous diving, with cylinders and free diving (apnea). There are three local companies for scuba diving, offering two basic types: underwater baptism and dives aimed at people with previous experience.

Boat ride
Several boats, with an average capacity of 20 passengers, offer daily trips departing at 2:00 pm from the Port of Santo Antônio, heading to the secondary islands, Ponta da Sapata, passing by Baía dos Golfinhos with a stop at Baía do Sancho for bathing and diving .
The return takes place at 17:30h.
Beaches in Fernando de Noronha
Sancho beach
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. Also known as the honeymoon beach. The beach is protected by a huge cliff 50 meters high.
Access is only possible via a ladder in the crevice of the cliff, with just over 100 steps. Spend at least half a day to visit it. From there you can even take a trail to the bay of pigs, if the tide is low, do it, because the view is wonderful and no city tour takes you there.
Don't forget to bring water, snorkel and sunscreen.
From January to July, the beach is banned at night, as it is a nesting place for sea turtles.
Praia do Leão
As it is a nesting area for sea turtles, visits are controlled during the reproduction period.

During low tide several natural pools appear. Going down to the reefs is currently prohibited, but the scenery is worth the trip.
Bay of Pigs
Small bay, next to Sancho beach, opposite Morro dos Dois Irmãos. It has natural pools and a beautiful view of the two hills.

The dry season runs from September to March, the rainy season from April to August, and the rainy season is characterized by rapid rains.
During the summer (January to February) the Mar de Dentro has stronger waves, in winter the situation reverses, leaving the Mar de Fora with the most agitated waters.
The archipelago is 1 hour ahead of Brasilia time.

For those who love to bring a souvenir from their trip, most craft and souvenir shops are located in Porto de Santo Antônio. There are also shopping options in the villages of Trinta, dos Remédios and Floresta Nova, in addition to the feirinha set up at the Tourist Terminal.

- Gastronomic Festival at Pousada Zé Maria – it is a festival of delicious food. It is held every Wednesday and Saturday, including a hearty table of food and dessert. But make a reservation at least one day before, as it is very popular and places are limited.
