And speaking of DiCaprio, how to forget the paradise beach in the movie The beach ? It was from there that this little paradise on earth became known worldwide and thousands of tourists visit it during the year, the beach of maya bay is the highlight of the tour to Ko Phi Phi Leh, at Thailand. The island is one of the biggest postcards in the country and the #DICANOSNATRIP is do the Sleep Aboard and spend the night in Maya Bay. In fact, it is no longer possible to sleep on the island but some boats do this tour and it is possible to sleep on the boat anchored very close and dawn in this incredible place still deserted.
Still in Thailand, we leave paradise and go straight to the frantic Bangkok where was the movie shot If you drink, don't marry 2 and one of the most attention-grabbing scenes is the incredible look of the sky bar which is on the cover of Hotel Lebua and it is divided between a bar and a restaurant and its entrance is free, that is, if you just want to go up to see the view without spending any baht it's possible. #DICANOSNATRIP, ask the drink hagovertini in honor of the film.
I just love this movie and I think I've seen it ten times lol. Letters to Juliet, is a romantic comedy set in verona, in addition to the incredible landscapes in the film, it is still possible to see the Juliet's House, yes, the one from the most famous romantic story in the world written by Shakespeare. #IPS: for whoever is looking for a love, don't forget to stick your letter on the wall and even pass your hand over the right breast of the bronze statue of Juliet that is in the gardens… Superstition? Okay, but it works, right?!! hahahaha
Yet another film that I am completely in love with, not just for the incredible photography of the city of light but mainly for the scenes that take place in the 20's of which I'm fanatical (if I ever lived in a past life, I'm sure it was in this decade hahaha). Midnight in Paris, is one of the successes of Wood Allen (I'm not a fan of him but hats off to this movie) and one of the central scenes of the film takes place on the stairs of the Church of St. Etienne Du Mont, right next to the Panthéon. #IPS be sure to take a photo on the stairs at night and visit the church which is beautiful and there is the tomb with the remains of Santa Genoveva, patroness of Paris.
Anyone out there a fan of Harry Potter ?? THE Gloucester Cathedral, in Gloucester, on the England it was the setting for some films in the series. The architecture of the cathedral dates back over 1300 years and is simply incredible and rich in detail. #ICAS, be sure to visit the old cathedral crypt, legend has it that it is haunted by monks from the old abbey of Gloucester, lol.
James Bond is known for collecting amazing sets in his films and 007- Operation Skyfall, the last of the series, is no different. The film takes place in different places in the city of Istanbul, the Grand Bazaar scenes are amazing and in the city of Adana is that is the Varda bridge, super famous among nature photography lovers !! #IPS, after taking pictures from all angles of the bridge, be sure to take a picnic in Yerkopru, which has a great space for the activity and is close by.
How not to fall in love with amsterdam?! The protagonist of the film, Hazel Grace, I dreamed of getting to know the city and that's where all the incredible scenography of Blame it on the stars. One of the most striking scenarios, in addition to the bank on the banks of the canal, lol, was the Anne Frank's House, which was one of the places I most wanted to visit when I was in Amsterdam. #ICAS, O anne frank museum, is one of the busiest in the city and as the ticket is by appointment, it is interesting to buy it online well in advance, especially if you only have a few days in the city.
Guys, can you believe this place exists?? Yes, the scenario Hobbit village of the trilogy Lord of the Rings really exists and is in New Zealand!! The lease is in Kill Kill, two hours from the city of Auckland and there are several guided tours there. #IPS, in addition to Matamata, be sure to visit other cities that also served as locations for the films, Wellington, Nelson, Canterbury, Mackenzie Country, Southern Lakes and Fiordland.
O Cambodia it is a country with incredible landscapes but, without a doubt, it became better known touristically after the film tomb Raider, with Angelina Jolie. O Angkor Wat Temple it's fantastic and huge, several scenes from the movie were filmed there and the most striking one is the ruins of Ta Prohm, that has this gigantic fig tree. #IPS, if you want to enjoy the peace of this beautiful place, or simply take pictures without anyone in your background, arrive early!! Ta Prohm gets a lot of tours daily and it gets unbearable from mid-morning onwards.
Yet another place that is hard to believe exists… Yes, the house of Luke SkyWalker at Anakin's village, on the desert planet Tatooine it's real!! O set footage built in nephta, at tunisia, where the village is located was not destroyed after the completion of the film and remains there to this day with the help of fans to keep it preserved. #IPS the area is not so easy to access but if you are a fan of the series it is worth knowing this Dry and totally secluded lake to see Luke's igloo up close.
