Its location is great because it is on the road between the cities of Teres\u00f3polis and Friburgo, allowing you to choose which road you prefer to arrive. As I live in Niter\u00f3i, I chose to go on the Friburgo side (Niter\u00f3i \u2013 Manilha and Rodovia Pres. Jo\u00e3o Goulart), I took the opportunity to have lunch in the city and then followed the path to the hotel. Good road and good signage.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hotel_e_Comodidades\"><\/span>Hotel and Amenities:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The hotel is simply hugeeee, are <em>1,000,000 m2<\/em> very green, nature, mountain weather and a very nice structure for family, children and teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>It is an old hotel, with rustic furniture and a good <em>staff<\/em>, they are all very friendly and helpful.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e3o Moritz has a swimming pool (it was under construction when I went \u2013 Sep\/2021), games room (it is super complete), tennis court, basketball, several soccer fields, mini golf, pedal boat, horseback riding, bike ride, children&#039;s playground, small farm and recreation with various activities for children throughout the day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FUN FOR CHILDREN:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#039;m going to highlight the fun part for the kids because I really think that&#039;s the hotel&#039;s differential. The little ones have activities all day long\u2026 games like <strong>magpie pike, police and robbers, burned, skigrama<\/strong>\u2026 O <strong>playground<\/strong> is completely immersed in nature and <strong>little farm<\/strong> It&#039;s the cutest thing, impossible not to fall in love with.<\/p>\n<p>Fazendinha is one of the favorite places for children (and adults too!), there you are welcomed by a veterinarian \u2013 Dr. Henrique explains how the little farm works, the care they take with the animals, shows the species they have there, such as rabbits, peacocks, ducks, kids, calves, piglets and during the<em> tour<\/em> he teaches how children can feed some of these critters. Needless to say, they get crazy and super excited, right?!<\/p>\n<p>Older children and teenagers also have a lot of fun immersed in nature, in addition to <strong>games room<\/strong>, there are several <strong>sports<\/strong> that can be practiced there.<\/p>\n<p>I found the hotel very nice to go with a group of friends, have a wine outdoors, enjoy the pool and the bar with a good menu of drinks and snacks, walk, ride a horse \u2026 it is a good place to relax and enjoy it too.<\/p>\n<p>the night has<strong> live music<\/strong> and the environment is delightful with the super starry sky and the lighting of the chalets that makes everything too charming.<\/p>\n<p>The S\u00e3o Moritz daily rate includes full board with <strong>breakfast, lunch and dinner<\/strong> \u2013 only drinks are not included.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is very spacious and meals are served in the <em>buffet,<\/em> as savory options for children, adults and a table of homemade sweets.<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast is very complete with bread, cakes, juices, cold cuts, cheese bread, eggs, bacon, yogurt\u2026 in short, a farm breakfast! A delight!<\/p>\n<p>Lunch and dinner are very similar \u2026 options for meat, pasta and sauces, some side dishes and a plentiful dessert table. Homemade seasoning, good food but I missed more options and varieties, especially at dinner, for those who are not used to eating food at night (me!!).<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quartos\"><\/span>Bedrooms:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>There are several categories of rooms, from rooms and chalets for couples to families of up to 10 people, however, all include<strong> minibar, led tv with Netflix and Youtube, hairdryer and <em>amenities<\/em>, Besides <em>wifi<\/em> free of charge<\/strong> (which I only remembered to use on the last day because Vivo&#039;s 4g service was very good in every hotel... the little bit I tested from <em>wifi<\/em> it did well in most parts of the hotel and only left something to be desired in the room).<\/p>\n<p>I stayed at <strong>Family suite with fireplace,<\/strong> a super cozy chalet, facing the lake, and huge! The suite has a double bedroom with balcony, heater, TV and wardrobe, living room - also with access to the balcony and a mezzanine with two single bunk beds, TV, fireplace and balcony. That is, perfect for a family of up to six people. The chalet is really spacious and the highlight is the view of the lake, which is just perfect!!<\/p>\n<p>The bathroom is a good size, with a great shower and hairdryer \u2013 the only drawback is that it is very old and in need of renovation (but I have seen photos of other rooms where the bathroom has already been renovated).<\/p>\n<p>I thought the idea of the chalet with two floors was super cool, especially for older children and teenagers who will certainly love sleeping on the mezzanine and having a space just for them.<\/p>\n<p>My parents \u2013 who are elderly \u2013 also really liked the chalet we stayed in and its amenities.<\/p>\n<p>My experience at Hotel Fazenda S\u00e3o Moritz was very pleasant, I found it a perfect place to have a final rest and immerse myself in nature with my family. It&#039;s a simple but very cozy place with great staff... and that makes all the difference!
