the first time, we have listed 10 basic and unmissable attractions that can help you plan your itinerary and make the most of your stay in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#039;s 10 classic New York attractions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Central_Park\"><\/span><strong>central park<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the places I was most looking forward to visiting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Central Park is the city&#039;s main park and is home to fantastic places like Strawberry Fields \u2013 a place restored by Yoko Ono to honor John Lennon; the Wollman Rink \u2013 which in winter turns into an ice skating rink; Shakespeare Garden \u2013 an area for plays; and Belvedere Castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"341\" park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What caught my attention were the park benches, most of them have carved phrases \u2013 beautiful, by the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Times_Square\"><\/span><strong>Times Square<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most touristic places in New York at dusk, Times Square, is located at the junction of Broadway and 7th Avenue, between 42nd and 47th streets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are dozens of electronic panels that turn the place into an endless day \u2013 the light is so intense that you don&#039;t even notice it&#039;s dark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wenttrip.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/000-22.jpg\" alt=\"Times Square\" class=\"wp-image-5413\" width=\"573\" height=\"430\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the hot and mild days, there are tables and chairs for tourists to sit outside, watching all the action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At one point, more precisely in the <strong>Broadway and 47th<\/strong>, there is also an open-access grandstand where you can get a clear view of the grandeur of Times Square. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It faces the building where, at New Year&#039;s Eve, the crest ball \u201cdrops\u201d. It&#039;s just below this stand that TKTS is located (where you can buy discounted tickets of up to 50% for Broadway shows).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ponte_do_Brooklyn\"><\/span><strong>Brooklyn Bridge&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Completed in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge remains one of New York&#039;s most visited landmarks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the best-known bridge in the city, as it has appeared in several films and series and is known even today for its characteristic metallic structure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this last trip, we cross the bridge on foot over the suspended sidewalk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to being amazed by the architecture (which is still one of the main accesses between Brooklyn and Manhattan), the view I had of the southern part of the island and the tall buildings was unforgettable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20121208063159im_\/http:\/\/www.viagemeviagens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/0000-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Brooklyn Bridge\u00a0\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Estatua_da_Liberdade_e_Ellis_Island\"><\/span><strong>Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the visits I made in the first days in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After standing in line for almost 2 hours at Battery Park, we took the boat (be prepared, the inspection is intense!) to the <a href=\"https:\/\/wenttrip.com.br\/en\/united-states\/nova-york\/visit-the-statue-of-liberty\/\">Statue of Liberty<\/a> \u2013 Icon of the United States. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The view of Manhattan also really caught my attention\u2026 Beautiful! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And since you are visiting the Statue of Liberty, with the same ticket you can visit the <strong>Ellis Island<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The island was one of the main entrances for immigrants to the country and today it houses the immigration museum that tells the story of the construction and operation of the buildings and all the immigrants who passed through there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20121208063159im_\/http:\/\/www.viagemeviagens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/5.jpg\" alt=\"statue of Liberty\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Shows_da_Broadway\"><\/span><strong>Broadway shows<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This last time we watched Chicago, a classic Broadway play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this, there are many shows that have received great reviews from the public that I think are worth watching like The Lion King, Mamma Mia and The Phantom of the Opera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shows are mega shows, with very well-crafted sets and costumes. Despite the high price, it&#039;s worth it! It&#039;s two hours well invested, in my opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20121208063159im_\/http:\/\/www.viagemeviagens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/02.jpg\" alt=\"Broadway shows\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Museus_em_NYC\"><\/span><strong>Museums in NYC<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I love going to Museums. But in New York I only managed to visit the Museum of Natural History (considered one of the best in the world) due to the short time we stayed in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who don&#039;t know, this is the movie museum &quot;<strong>A Night at the Museum<\/strong>\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddf7 He&#039;s huge! With several sessions and floors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To know him completely, it is necessary <strong>book 3 to 4 hours<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides that, there is the <strong>Metropolitan and the MOMA <\/strong>who stayed for the next trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Metropolitan has the style of a super museum, with a little bit of everything and the MOMA contains very famous works of art such as paintings by Van Gogh, Kandiski, Cezane and the beautiful Monet panel: \u201cThe Waterlilies\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20121208063159im_\/http:\/\/www.viagemeviagens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/42.jpg\" alt=\"Museums in NYC\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Empire_State_Building\"><\/span><strong>Empire State Building<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After a long queue (many, many people!), we bought the passes and went through a rigorous search. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then we took the elevator to the first stop, at <strong>86th <\/strong>walk. This observatory is completely closed, but it already gives an idea of what we will find on the 102nd floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the top, the view is beautiful!
