The Shanghai Tunnels, also known as <strong>The Old Portland Underground<\/strong>, are easily one of the most unusual and best things to do in Portland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ponte_de_Sao_Joao\"><\/span>St. John&#039;s Bridge<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This iconic steel suspension bridge spans 1,219 meters over the Willamette River. On a clear day, you can catch a view of Mt. Whether it&#039;s a brewery, a food tour or a museum, there are countless ways to meet other travelers and have fun while traveling solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jardim_Chines_Lan_Su\"><\/span>Lan Su Chinese Garden<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Portland has a sister city in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. After establishing this partnership, artists came from Suzhou and created Lan Su. While it&#039;s not far, it&#039;s a bit of a walk, so come prepared.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>There are countless legends about the infamous Witch&#039;s Castle and the surrounding forest. Read about history online, especially my favorite Oregon tale of Romeo and Juliet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bonus\"><\/span>Bonus<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Choosing the best things to do in Portland was an impossible mission! There are so many hidden treasures and must-see attractions. I can&#039;t end this list without adding some of my other favorites that are worth checking out if you still have time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mercado_de_sabado_de_Portland_na_cidade_velha\"><\/span>Portland&#039;s Saturday Market in Old Town<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest market of <strong>craftsmanship<\/strong> of the United States is in Portland (of course!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#039;re lucky enough to be in town on a <strong>Saturday<\/strong>, be sure to pay a visit.
